Being able to drive a motor boat is a very great skill to have for rowing development. If you would like to learn this skill, you are welcome to book in to some free learn to drive a boat sessions at Canberra Rowing Club. The following is a link, to click on, which will take you to an electronic calender to book in:

Please note that you must book in for training to be provided. One person per booking time. A CRC member, Laurence Sandral, has offered to supervise at these times. More, and alternative times may be provided in addition to the above depending upon interest.

If you are qualified to supervise (ie had your boat licence at any stage for over three consecutive years and have one now) and would like to help provide additional training times, please let Laurence know when you would be available to do so via either laurencesandral@gmail.com or ph 0435017445 so that he can update the calender.

To get your licence under NSW law (There is not ACT boat licencing procedure as yet) you must have at least 3 sessions out on the water supervised by someone who has held their licence for over 3 years and pass a written test provided by the RTA.
